Viviane Paturel-Mazot | Vice President, Middle East and Europe

Viviane is a senior level hospitality and theme park professional heading up ProFun’s projects in the Middle East and Europe. She has extensive operations management experience with Disney and Six Flags, major corporations in the leisure industry.

Viviane’s career in the theme park business began over twenty years ago at Disneyland Resort in Paris where she held several positions as Operations Manager for Attractions, Park Support and Entertainment Department. Key responsibilities included, opening of Space Mountain and Account Manager with Corporate Alliances.

In 1998 she was the Site Manager for Olympic Spirit München, an interactive entertainment center based on Olympic sports. She then took over as General Manager of the theme park Walibi / Six Flags Belgium where she led two complete re-brandings over five years.

Viviane relocated to the United Arab Emirates in 2008 to work as Project Director of Six Flags Dubailand, before transitioning on as Senior Manager for Tourism Development and Investment Company. TDIC is a master developer of tourism destinations and is behind Abu Dhabi’s most prestigious projects including Sir Bani Yas Island, Qasr Al Sarab, Saadiyat Island and its cultural district with the Louvre, the Guggenheim and Sheikh Zayed National museums. During her 4 years at TDIC, she successfully headed the complete transformation of Hili Fun City, an amusement park in Al Ain, including taking over the park’s management contract. She also asset managed the opening of Monte-Carlo Beach Club, Saadiyat.

Viviane is a well-rounded professional that brings strategic thinking coupled with a practical working knowledge of the industry.
