| Kenny Wagener started in the theme park business in 1976 working in Retail and later, Group Sales. He has experience in many leisure and themed entertainment projects working in training, operations, and marketing. He served as General Manager for a first—of–its–kind–indoor theme park in Hong Kong. As General Manager on several venues he brings a broad background of experience to projects for ProFun Management Group. His experience includes Marriott, General Growth Management, EXPO 86 – the world’s exposition in Canada, Chuck E. Cheese’s, Whimsy International, Iwerks Entertainment, Mystic Seaport, Hershey Museum, and Lights of Liberty in Philadelphia. He has worked on the opening team of over a dozen themed attractions. For ProFun Management Group he contributed onsite at uShaka MARINE WORLD in Durban, South Africa assisting with marketing, operations, and administration. Kenny was project director on Daytona Lagoon responsible for developing budgets, and scheduling of refurbishment and pre–opening phases. He also oversaw all marketing and operations activity for the historic Daytona Beach Pier and was instrumental in the successful transition of handing the property over to new ownership. |
