Shaun’s experience in the Amusement & Attractions Industry has enabled him to gain a wealth of industry knowledge especially in regards to building strong workplace cultures that support employees achieving their very best; impacting job performance, quality service excellence delivery and productivity. His expertise especially lies in how to plan for, manage and motivate employees.

As a highly respected learning and development specialist for the Amusement & Attractions Industry, Shaun is particularly passionate about workplace reward and recognition, leadership, performance management and quality Service Excellence delivery. He is co-author of an exciting new industry leadership book Reasons 2 Reward, which highlights how to improve profits and productivity in your facility by creating an engaging employee focused work environment.

Shaun has developed an exclusive ProFun Management Group and Management Resources Service Excellence System that can be implemented across the industry ensuring the delivery of consistent standards of service excellence in any facility. The Service Excellence System success comes from the implementation of and training on operational and management practices and processes.

Shaun currently serves as Chair for the IAAPA Human Resources Committee and has contributed especially to the success of the Brass Ring Awards: Human Resources Excellence program, the IAAPA Show Ambassador program, Human Resource Roundtables, coordination of the Expo Education program including being featured as a regular international speaker for both the Asian and North American Expo’s, the IAAPA Institute for Attraction Managers and the Human Resources Institute.

Prior to working with ProFun Management Group and Management Resources, Shaun managed the culture and people development of Australia’s premier theme parks, including Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World Theme Park & Resort Hotel, Wet ‘N’ Wild Water World, Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country. Beginning within the industry gaining extensive frontline experience in Rides & Attractions and Park Operations he has performed many roles leading to industry management responsibilities in Theme Park Operations, Training, Human Resources and Admissions. His extensive industry career has included experience across the breadth of the Amusement & Attractions Industry including family entertainment centers, theme parks, hotels, zoos, water parks, cultural centers, museums and destination resorts.
