Better City, Better Life Information and Communications Pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo Shanghai, China http://en.expo2010.cn The 2010 Shanghai World Expo is themed “Better City, Better Life”, representing the common wish of humankind for a better living style in future urban environments. Set in the center of Shanghai, the entire site spreads 5.28 square kilometers - all dedicated to the Expo. Opening to the general public on May 1st, 2010, the Shanghai World Expo is expecting over 70 million visitors and 225 participating countries and companies. With international representation from USA, Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Iceland, Australia, France, Germany and many more, as well as corporate participation of the major industries representing space, oil and technology, the Expo promises to provide a memorable experience worthy of its Class 1 rating from the Bureau of International Expositions. Shanghai World Expo 2010 expects to be the largest World Expo ever. As representatives of China’s information communications industry, China Mobile and China Telecom have created a combined corporate pavilion and spectacular show. The China Mobile/China Telecom Pavilion features an exciting interactive performance based on dreams, with a focus on nature, science and technology, as well as the social aspect of humanity. Titled the “Information and Communications Pavilion” or ICP, the exhibit will exemplify the profound influence of rapidly developing information communications technology and its industries’ impact on society. ProFun Management Group is excited to be working with BRC Imagination Arts, which has designed the stunning Dreams Show for the Information and Communications Pavilion. The show will feature the use of hand-held Information Communications Technology devices (ICTs) that allow each guest to interact with the show and produce a record of their individual participation. Our Role ProFun Management Group will be managing and operating the China Mobile/China Telecom Corporate Pavilion along with our partner, Betterway China. ProFun Management Group and its sister company, Management Resources, have been involved with World’s Fairs and Expositions for over twenty–five years. Beginning in 1982 with the Knoxville, Tennessee World’s Fair, ProFun Management Group is excited to continue this tradition with the upcoming 2010 World Expo in Shanghai, China. Specific to this corporate pavilion for China’s largest communications company, ProFun Management Group is responsible for developing and implementing the operational plan to include all protocols and requirements for communications, safety, staffing, training, access control, security, and VIP planning – all elements necessary to operate this world-class pavilion at Expo 2010. |
