In 1999 ProFun was selected to provide full time pre-opening and operational support to Volkswagen’s highly touted $500 million Autostadt brand land in Wolfsburg, Germany. Our European office provided six full time staff members in the development of all pre-opening and operational planning and support. ProFun recruited and hired the remaining key operations / management staff.

Autostadt was successfully taken from pre-opening, opening, and initial phase of operation by the ProFun Management Group team.
Autostadt combines a variety of themes and perspectives, creating a world of adventure. In the ZeitHaus museum there is an introduction to the history of automobility, in the AutoLab. On the factory tour, guests can learn about the art of automobile construction. The Kids' World and Kids' Traffic School demonstrate that learning can be fun.
The different makes belonging to the Volkswagen Corporation plus prototypes developed by the engineers can all be viewed in the various Pavilions. In addition, Autostadt offers a relaxing and entertaining Premium Pick-up program to make picking up a new car an unforgettable experience.
At Autostadt, Volkswagen feels the moment in which one receives a new car should be just as special. Collecting a new car is an event in itself. In a fully automated procedure, a new car is brought down to the guest from one of the two 20-story Car Towers. Large signboards in the Customer Center show one when their turn has come. Then, they are handed the keys, a picture is taken, the glass doors open and the brand-new car appears. The guest is all set to go.
Autostadt won the prestigious THEA award from the Themed Entertainment Association for Outstanding Achievement in the Corporate Land category.
