	100 Day Countdown Until Ferrari World Abu Dhabi Opens its Doors! (July 20, 2010) In one hundred days, at noon on the 28th of October, the world’s largest indoor theme park and first Ferrari brand theme park, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will open its doors. With more than 20 attractions under the 200,000m2 red roof, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will have something for everyone to enjoy. It will feature attractions such as the Speed of Magic which will take guests on a 4–D adventure through a kaleidoscopic dreamscape and the Formula Rossa which will be the world’s fastest rollercoaster powering guests up to 240 kmph in less than five seconds. It also features Made in Maranello which will take guests on a tour through the Maranello factory. Viaggio in Italia will give guests a virtual visit to Italy as you follow a Ferrari California through famous Italian landmarks. 	BBC News - Ferrai World Abu Dhabi (July 18, 2010) Claus Frimand, General Manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, spoke with BBC’s Ben Thompson for a brief interview to describe the park and the surrounding entertainment district. When the park opens in late October, it will be the first ever Ferrari brand theme park and the largest indoor theme park in the world. Claus Frimand spoke with confidence in the success of this theme park and states that it is only one part of a bigger master plan set to finish in 2030. The 2030 plan includes new construction of freeways so that it may function as a commercial and residential city, making it an entertainment district. This summer Yas Island will start the building of a water park which will open in 2012. When asked about possible logistical issues with weather, Claus Frimand stated that even in the desert Ferrari World Abu Dhabi will be able to operate 365 days a year. 	Dan Aylward joins ProFun Egypt! (July 8, 2010) ProFun Management Group would like to welcome Dan Aylward to the family. Dan will be joining us as Managing Director of ProFun Egypt, and General Manager of the Suzanne Mubarak Family Park. He began his career at Coney Island in 1971, and from there joined Six Flags as Vice President and General Manager of Marine World Africa USA (now Six Flags Discovery Kingdom). Soon after, Dan was relocated to Europe, acting as Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Six Flags’ European Division. In 2007, Dan founded Worldwide Leisure Management LLC to provide consulting services to financial investment firms interested in the theme park industry. 	Suzanne Mubarak Family Park’s Opening Team (June 30, 2010) David Schmitt, president and CEO of ProFun Egypt, Ltd., a local Cairo company formed by ProFun Management Group recently returned from a site visit of the Suzanne Mubarak Family Park in Cairo, Egypt. 	The National peeks into Ferrari World Abu Dhabi (June 24, 2010) The National, an Abu Dhabi based newspaper, has released a sneak peek video of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi (FWAD). The park recently opened its doors for reporter Sarah Head to take a glimpse at the world’s largest indoor theme park as it prepares for opening later this year. General Manager Claus Frimand speaks about the park and its long journey from idea to construction to opening set for October 2010. The park’s central location to Europe and Asia’s markets bring expectations of high attendance; especially for those thrill–seekers who want to test the world’s fastest rollercoaster, Formula Rossa. 	Italian Ambassador to the UAE visits Ferrari World Abu Dhabi (June 3, 2010) In a special preview to the world’s largest indoor theme park, Paolo Dionisi, the Italian Ambassador to the UAE and his family celebrated Italian Republic Day at Ferrari World Abu Dhabi. With Claus Frimand, General Manager of Ferrari World and Ousama Ghannoum, Marketing and Media Director at Aldar Properties acting as tour guides, the Dionisi family enjoyed a sneak peek of Bella Italia, a miniature recreation of famous Italian cityscapes, structures and racing venues amongst other attractions within the park. 	Welcome Alec Tilley! (May 1, 2010) On May 1st, ProFun Management Group, Inc. welcomed Alec Tilley as a new addition to the corporate team. Acting as Vice President, Alec comes at an exciting time for ProFun with the opening of three major projects this year, including the Information and Communications Pavilion at the Shanghai World Expo, Ferrari World Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and the Suzanne Mubarak Family Park in Cairo, Egypt. Alec’s background comes from many years in the entertainment and leisure business, with experience in business and operational planning at Disneyland and with the Universal Studios Recreation Group. 	A Sneak–peek Under the Red Roof of Ferrari World (April, 2010) In a video sneak-peek, Phil Blizzard talks with Claus Frimand, general manager of Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, about the exciting attractions of the largest indoor theme park - including the Bella Italy attraction. This attraction will feature replicas of some of Italy’s most famous emblems including the Leaning tower of Piza and the Coliseum. In this attraction you can choose to view it by foot or take a 4 minute tour in a reduced scale of the 1950’s Ferrari 250 California Spider. All of the attractions are indoor with the exceptions of the drop tower in the middle, the dueling roller coasters – GT Challenge, and the world’s fastest roller coast – the Formula Rosso. 	First Look at Ferrari World Rollercoaster (March 18, 2010) The GT roller coasters picture, one of the two roller coasters in Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, was released today. This coaster will send two competing cars along parallel twisting tracks to race to the finish line. Each GT roller coaster car is a replica of the Ferrari F430 Spider. These coaster cars will race on a 1,050 m track reaching speeds between 70km/g to 95 km/h. This thrill attraction is set to give each rider the feeling of racing with increased G-force in turns and changes in track elevation. For more information, please click here.
